What does the One Way Sign mean?
The One Way sign is a black-on-white horizontal rectangle showing the word "ONE WAY" with a large arrow pointing in the direction of legal travel. It indicates that traffic on the road may move only in the direction of the arrow.

When making a left turn from a two-way street onto a one-way street, you may turn into ANY lane (not just the leftmost) because there is no oncoming traffic. This is different from a left turn onto a two-way road.
